Between the wheels and the rather plebeian engine conversion, this just seems like a bit of a waste. Couldn’t they have just done a slab-sided body kit on a Caprice and call it a day?

Just when I thought the Lagonda couldn’t get any worse...

You buy a Lagonda for the weirdness of it all - bespoke V8, funky digital dash and tires with sidewalls taller than most children. I wonder if this clown yanked out the unreliable digital dash and put a set of chromed Stewart Warners in there as well.

Might as well Donk it out...

That doesn’t look like Kansas.

Everything is wrong. Everything. The wheels, the body, the engine, the price. Christ.

The ad does mention CARB certification, so I’m guessing that picture was taken somewhere in SoCal. I wouldn’t be surprised if the house is one of those that is totally out of character with the neighborhood, like somebody came into a lot of money and built an expensive custom house in the same shitty neighborhood they grew up in, surrounded by slums and trailers.

I had a co-worker that was looking at a place somewhere out near Riverside or Corona or Moreno Valley, and not in a great area. But it was a nice house, dirt cheap, and had a helicopter landing pad. Probably a good place to park a bro-dozer or mid-90s F-body.

It does have Kansas dealer plates, though... And it’s the kind of thing I could see happening in KCK.

Looks like Chevy gauges from the pictures. So still terrible.

Yuck. I didn’t look at any of the other pics as I was already offended by the exterior, but curiosity dragged me back there. Awful - what a waste of a once-interesting car. I guess it’s now ready for the church parking lot car show circuit.
